Muslim residents celebrated Hari Raya Puasa on 10th April
It’s time to celebrate Hari Raya Aidifitri! This festival is important for Muslims, marking the end of Ramadan fasting with lots of joy. Families and friends gather to share love and happiness, celebrating their spiritual journey together. It is also a time to express our affection and admiration for those who matter the most in our lives. This is characterized by special prayers, feasting, and giving gifts, particularly to the less fortunate. At ST Lodge, each cluster has special designated area for the Hari Raya prayers. The MUIS approved Imams and their volunteers were deployed at the cluster security area to guide the Muslim residents to the designated area. STL work with Phan Nee Supermarket to hold a 2 days Pasar Malam event on 30 April and 1st May 2024. There were simple food (burgers), light snacks and drinks on sale. Clothes, jeans, fruits, shoe and sandals were also sold at discounted prices. Many residents visited Pasar Malam browsing through the sale items. The music background helps to generate the noise and buzzing atmosphere of the event.
