STL staff works very hard throughout 2023 and STL management would like to thank all staff for their hard work.
The STL Dinner and Dance is way to thank staff and encourage staff to enjoy an evening of good food, fun and
laughter for all. Our staff help to decorate the venue and work closely with the entertaining company to have games encouraging more audience participation. The raucous
and hilarious action of participants got roaring support from all. There was photo booth and many posed with props. Everyone agreed the food was sumptuous and free flow of beers for our beer-drinking friends. The dancing were more subdued and event finishes about 10.30pm.

STL Contractor has partially replaced the existing artificial turf area. The existing Astroturf at the vehicular parking roof terrace has been wornout by the residents’ heavy usage for sport activities like cricket, soccer, jogging and occasionally stage performance events. The materials plus base layers have serve its function well and its timely to replace it. Pending more material delivery, this replacement exercise will take some time to complete it.

STL has worked with term contractor Top Grid Pest Specialist Pte Ltd to set up trap to remove the pigeons and crows from our dormitory. The population of pigeons and crows have steadily increased and action needs to be taken to control
it. This operation takes about 2 weeks. STL has placed Notice to warn residents not to feed the birds. Residents were also warned about littering because these birds were also preying directly upon the disposed food and waste visible in open bin and litters left by residents.

STL has worked with The Salvation Army (TSA) for
distribution of goodie bags to residents. Security
officers, cluster staff and TSA staff have helped in
the distribution. The crowd control was important
to ensure this operation was safely conducted with
minimum disruption to the regular human traffic
flow at the Socialising Area #2 and this exercise
ended 2100hr.
