1. MOM-ACE team visit in STL

On 10 July 2024, MOM-ACE group conducted a scheduled visit to ST Lodge as part of their ongoing FEDA (Foreign Employee

Dormitory Act) inspections. The purpose of the visit was to assess the current living conditions of the dormitory and to monitor the progress of the construction of new ensuite toilets, showers, and wash basins in every room. During their inspection, MOMACE officials engaged with residents to gather firsthand feedback on their living experience at ST Lodge.

2. SCAL Lu Ban Celebration 2024

18, 2024. The event, rganized by SCAL, was held to commemorate Mr. Lu Ban, a master builder in ancientChina.

3. 2nd patrol at Jalan Tapisan by STL and MOM-ACE

STL and ACE conducted a second patrol at Jalan Tapisan on July 21, 2024. STL has converted the grass field between Clusters 2 and 3 into a recreational area to provide residents with more space during their rest days.

4. Singapore Customs and CNB Engagement Talk at STLodge

Singapore Customs held a session at ST Lodge to

educate residents on the severe penalties for

smuggling, selling, buying, and smoking illegal

cigarettes. The event, attended by STL residents,

aimed to raise awareness about Singapore's strict

laws and their consequences. The Central Narcotics

Bureau (CNB) also provided educational materials

on the nation's Zero Tolerance Policy on Drugs.

STL management emphasized their commitment to

keeping the environment safe and lawful. Residents

found with illegal items or involved in selling

prohibited goods could be handed over to the

police and evicted from the dormitory.
