Muslim residents observe Hari Raya Puasa in STL Dorm
Ramadan begins on Sunday 10 March 2024 and is expected to conclude on Tuesday 9 April 2024. Ramadan is a holy month dedicated to prayer and reading the Quran. It is a period for reflection, selfrestraint, and warmth hence the abstention from earthly distractions like food and water during daylight hours. A modest meal is taken before dawn and after dusk. STL management worked with nearby Mosque management team, MOM/ACE and SPF to designate the place for prayers and MUIS for approved Imam to lead the prayers.
Starhub has a product launch roadshow at STL for 4 Sundays starting 24 March 2024. The Starhub booth received very good
response. There were games, luck draws and special offers to the customers. It was fun and entertaining to the residents.

STL has undertaken this Interactive TV Pilot Project and 6 rooms were installed with the interactive TV. The trial is carried out to get the user experience and feedback on how effective and improvement to following uses of it.
1. Announcement and message to be used by dormitory operator, employer, authorities
2. Telemedicine
3. Interaction and relay of work instructions between employer and employees
4. Training, safety instruction and standard operating procedures and practices
5. Teleshopping together with catalogues and special offers
The pilot project is still ongoing.
Interactive TV inside residents’ room
STL residents joins Salvation Army in celebrating Good Friday Holiday
29 March 2024 is Good Friday public holiday, and many Christians observe this auspicious day to commemorates Jesus Christ’s passion, crucifixion and death as recorded in the Christian Bible. This public holiday was a good respite for the residents to rest and reflect on its significance where applicable. STL and The Salvation Army (TSA) has organized activities like storytelling, sing along session, lucky draw and simple gifts for the residents. Residents were appreciative of this outreach and sharing by the Christian brothers and sisters.
The government of custodian of the two holy mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud has gifted 12 boxes of dates to STLodge Muslim residents. On 13 March 2024, the gifts were distributed to the Muslims by the clusters staff. The Muslim residents were very appreciative of the gifts.

STL has upgrading the security pass system by installing XID network cabling direct to server room for better performance and we have upgraded the XID server room with a 5-port switch which allows the XID servers existing 100Mbps switch to be upgrade it to Gigabit 100Mbps switch for better performance. Further the XID servers get a new NAS for XID servers backup purpose.
