Time flies! Christmas is just around the corner, and to celebrate, we’ve adorned Sungei Tengah Lodge with festive
decorations both inside and out. The lodge is now sparking with twinkling lights, colourful ornaments and beautifully
decorated Christmas trees.
On 11 Nov 2024, we conducted a comprehensive Fire Drill Exercise at Sungei Tengah Lodge. During this exercise, we updated our Standing Operations Procedures and held a refresher class for our staff, focusing on their specific appointments, roles, and responsibilities. The fire drill was designed to assess and enhance our staff’s emergency preparedness, ensuring that everyone knows exactly what to do in the event of an emergency. This exercise not only tested our protocols but also reinforced the importance of safety and
readiness among our team.
In collaboration with ACE MOM, we recently conducted a video recording session in one of our dormitory rooms. This initiative aimed to spotlight the invaluable contributions of the ACE
Nursing Team in improving the Health and Mental Well-being of migrant workers in Singapore. The video highlights the team’s dedication, showcasing their holistic approach to healthcare. It demonstrates how the team not only addresses physical health needs but also provides crucial mental health support, contributing significantly to the overall well-being of
the migrant worker community in Singapore.
On 24 Nov 2024, STLodge Management organised a
celebration at Sungei Tengah Lodge in honour of International
Men’s Day. This day, which officially falls on 19 Nov 2024, is
dedicated to recognising and honouring the contributions,
achievements and well-being of men and boys worldwide.
Our residents enjoyed a day filled with song and dance performances, engaging games, and complimentary lunch and dinner.
On 8 Nov 2024, we have obtained Temporary Occupancy Permit (TOP) for Cluster 1 & 2. This marks a significant milestone in TG25 Pte Ltd’s continuous effort to upgrade the
living conditions of our residents. Residents can now enjoy the convenience and privacy of having their own shower and
toilet facilities, complete with Wash basins. Previously, 240 residents shared 16 communal units of showers, WCs, urinals,
and wash basins, resulting in a ratio of 15:1. With the recent upgrades, this ratio has improved to 6:1! Residents no longer need to queue during peak hours, as they can now use these
facilities at the convenience within their own dormitory rooms, which accommodates a maximum of 12 people.
Each room is also equipped with the latest SMART METERING
SYSTEM for Electricity & Water Supply. This system helps to significantly reduce utility usage. TG25 Pte Ltd has passed on the savings to all tenants.
Recently, we have increased enforcement Efforts in the common areas and within the dormitory rooms. The objective is to discourage our residents from purchasing items from illegal sources, as this may significantly affect their health.
Furthermore, such activities are against the law in Singapore and may result in the termination of their Work Permits, leading to repatriation to their home countries.
TG25 Pte Ltd would like to warn all Residents about
the serious consequences of these actions.
It has come to the attention of TG25 Pte Ltd that some companies had entered into Fake Tenancy Agreement with unknown entities. We have reported such cases to the Ministry of Manpower and Singapore Police Force. We wish to remind all tenants to be vigilant against such fraudulent activities.
